Scheduling

Administration

  •  DIY form support of field cost sections now available.
  •  DIY form designs now have an option to "capture costs" which adds the field cost section available on discrete forms to DIY.

Quality Control

API

  •  NEW BillingCost endpoint added to ProjectData API which will support the retrieval of costs capture on discrete and DIY forms in the field module (including Activity, C/G/M and Density Test).
  •  ProjectData API updated to support the omission of optional fields for Projects, Employees, Clients and Contacts updates.

Quality Module

Background work has started on a mechanism to help manage the various aspects of a firm’s Quality program. This will include a dedicated (DIY) forms module for the creation and maintenance of competency exams along with other quality program-related data tracking used for compliance and audit needs. In addition project document file repositories will also be available for storage of quality-based documentation, standards, procedures, etc.
As of the 2020.2 release, a lot of work has gone into the development necessary to support the objectives above. It just won’t be visible to the MetaField user base at the time of the 2020.2 release.
