Purpose
The WBS tab stores the system's work breakdown structure. These levels are used elsewhere in the system to support billing procedures.

(Work Breakdown Structure) tab is used to map up to four levels of a firm's WBS to business-friendly names for each of the WBS levels. The WBS can be assigned to the various tests, samples and activities performed in MetaField. This WBS data also becomes a field option in all of the data exports in the Utilities module.
Work Breakdown Structure
Up to four levels of a WBS can be mapped to a business-friendly name. If a particular level of the WBS is not used in your firm, you can deactivate the level using the Activate / Deactivate controls on the right side of the WBS grid. When you map a WBS level to a business-friendly name, that name is displayed as the field name for the various WBS levels when assigning a WBS to a test, sample or activity.
