Introduction to Field

• • MetaField™ Field is designed to be used on a mobile device while on the job site.
    
    • Note: the Field component can also be accessed from the MetaField Home page on a PC (by selecting the Field button).
      But since Field has been optimized for use on a small screen, some areas may look strange when viewed on a PC interface.

  • Mobile functionality allows users to enter data at the same time they are performing field activities.

  • This real-time data entry reduces potential for errors and gets data into the MetaField™ system quickly, resulting in faster report delivery to the client.

• The first step to most tasks in MetaField™ is selecting your project.

• There are 3 ways to select your project:

1. Select your project from the list of Recent Projects.
2. Search for your project by selecting Search Projects, then entering one or more of the following:

• Project Number
• Project Name
• Client Name
• Project Manager Name
