Purpose

The Tests area of the LIMS section stores a listing of tests performed in your various labs. Similar tests can be grouped together using Test Groups.

Tests Group grid stores the high-level groups of tests.

Field	Description
Test Group	Name for your test group Required
Test Group ID	Optional internal ID for your test groups

The tests grid contains the individual tests performed in labs.

Field	Description
Name	Name of the test
Standard	Standard (i.e. ASTM) used to govern the test
Description	Brief description of the test
Test Cost	Default company cost (charged to customers) to perform the test Used in lab billing extracts

Tests can be moved from one group to another by using the Change Test Group button above the Tests grid.
