Purpose

The Lab Documents module allows you to upload and store documents or websites related to tests performed in the lab. These documents might be ASTM documents, form templates that technicians write on when performing tests, lab operations / procedure documents, or links to videos showing an example procedure, etc. - whatever you choose. Documents can be associated with lab tests and become available to lab technicians in the work queues through an icon that is displayed if a relationship exists.

Click the Add Document button to add a lab document. A Description can be optionally provided to summarize the content of the document. The "check box" tree that appears below lists all of the lab tests grouped by test group. Select the test(s) that the document pertains to in order to create a relationship and make the document available to users in work queues.


When adding documents, files or URL's can be uploaded.

Documents can also be related to specific material queus/areas, and are only visible while performing tests on the related material.
