A user that is added must be assigned at least one role. Select the appropriate role(s) to apply to the user account from the Roles tab.
Project Access
Project access for users can be limited to only projects an administrator gives them explicit rights to. To limit a users access to projects, mark the "Is Restricted to Projects Below" checkbox true. Add the project numbers for projects the user will need access to in the "Project Number" field. Select Add. Repeat this step for all projects the user will need access to. To remove a users access to a project, select the x icon to the right of the project in the grid. Users added to confidential projects in Project Administration will have those confidential projects displayed in this grid. If there is no check mark in the "Is Restricted To Projects Below" check box, users will have access to those confidential projects plus all other non-confidential projects.

Users can be deactivated by Administrators in MetaField by simply clicking the square icon on the right side of the grid. Likewise, this icon (which will turn into an arrow) can be clicked again to re-activate a user account.

The Active / Deactive control DOES NOT affect billing. Only Role management affects Subscription Billing. Customers are billed for all users with at least one Role assigned, regardless of system usage by users. |
