Purpose

The Standards tab allows you to define a

standard (i.e. ASTM) default related to various field test procedures. If more than one ASTM standard could apply, those values are added here

FieldDescription
Measurement Type
  • Indicates the measurement type (i.e. concrete temperature) the standard applies to
Standard
  • Lists the standard name as you want it to appear
Notes
  • Contains additional notes about the standard (testing procedure summary, etc.)
  • Notes are displayed in Field next to the standard name to provide a version of "helper text" to better understand the difference between standard methods
Default Value
  • Indicates if the standard is the default (pre-populated) value for a particular measurement
Tip

Standard names, as listed on this screen, will display on certain reports to disclose the standard used for that testing procedure. Bear this in mind when defining a standard name.
