About

Draft Reports are found off the main Quality Control menu.  This section allows you to review and sign client reports created in the various areas of Quality Control (Density Testing, Concrete, Inspections & Observations Admin, Finalizing a Field Report - see these sections for how to create a Draft Report).

Using Draft Reports Search Panel

  • From the search pane, you will see several search options.  
  • At least one search field must be completed prior to selecting Search.
  • You must perform a search before any Draft Reports will appear
FieldDescription

Report Type

  • Lists of all Report Types available in MetaField
  • Select one or more reports
  • If no reports are selected, all reports are returned

Project Number

  • Allows you to enter a complete or partial project number
  • If left blank, will search for all projects

Project Manager

  • List of all users
  • Looks at the project manager from the project system
  • Default is all project managers

Draft Report Creator

  • List of all users
  • Select the person who originally created a report
  • Default is all users

Report Label

  • Select a particular Report Label for a report
  • List of Report Labels is maintained by your Business Administrator
  • Default is all Report Labels

Start / End Date

  • Enter dates that correspond to when the report was created in the system
  • If left blank, will search for all dates

Rejected Status

  • Allows you to search for reports that have been Rejected, Not Rejected or All
  • Default is all

Access

Near the search panel, you can access the Dashboard and Delivery directly.

Reviewing Draft Reports

After searching for reports, you can open the reports for in order to Finalize them by selecting the Review Draft Reports button.

4.A PDF viewer will open with the first selected report displayed. To move through each report, select the Next and Previous buttons.

Close

  • Closes the PDF viewer window

Finalize

  • Select this button if the report is approved.
  • This button will allow for a Digital Signature to be added to the report.
  • Once approved, the report will move out of Draft Reports to Delivery
  • You will only need to supply your credentials once while this PDF viewing window is open
  • After Finalizing a report, you will see Accepted: YES in the upper left

Previous / Next

  • Use these buttons to navigate among reports

    Multi-Page reports

    If you report is multiple pages, use the scroll bar on the right to view each page.

Reject

  • Use this button to signify that the report has been rejected
  • Rejected reports remain in Draft Reports.
  • Upon Rejecting a report, you will have the option of adding a note to the report.
    This note is for internal communication and only displays when Reviewing a Draft Report.
  • After Rejecting a report, you will see Accepted: No in the upper left

Viewing Rejected Notes

  • If a report has previously been rejected and notes where added an icon will appear next to Accepted: No.  
  • Hover over this icon to expose the notes.
  • Click the Icon to edit the notes.

Deleting Reports, Viewing Project in Quality Control and Rejected Reports

  • Select this icon and you will be brought to the Quality Control section from where this report was generated
