The Concrete Tab: Suppliers

The Suppliers tab is where the Suppliers, Plants and Mix Design lists used in the Field component are maintained. 

The Suppliers tab is unique in that it allows you to build a three tiered list  (Supplier, Plant & Mix Design) where values on one list are associated with values on the other lists. 

“How does it work in Administration?”

• In Administration, when a Supplier is highlighted, the associated
• Plants table for that Supplier will be displayed and available for editing.
• When a Plant is selected, the Mix Designs for the chosen Plant will appear in the bottom table (and be available for editing).
• This functionality is important to understand, since it will be confusing for Field users if it is configured incorrectly.

“How will this affect the Field user?”

• When working on the Suppliers page in Field, the Field user must first select a Supplier.  The Supplier selected will determine which Plants will be available within the Plants dropdown list.  The Plant chosen will determine the choices in the Mix Design list.
