Scheduling

Forms with the Density Test - Soil Nuclear Gauge form setting will create a Pending Field Action if the density test requires a retest (Retest = Yes)

Added a new Work Item called Retest - Soil Density to be used to manage / schedule retests for DIY form density tests

Field

Activity - Added a new Manage Density Retests section to display density test form records where the test requires a retest, but it has not been retested yet

Quality Control

Sampling - Added the ability to filter on the Uncollected status to find samples with specimens that have been marked as Uncollected

Sampling - Updated the Average Compressive Strength calculations to reflect the differences in averaging between Imperial and Metric units of measure

Administration

LIMS / Samples - Sample Administration - Added the ability to renumber sample sets on forms with the with the CGM Sample Specification form setting

General - Settings -Added a new general setting called Hide Billing on LIMS Tests to Assign Screen in Setting - when set to Yes the billing fields will no longer appear on the Tests To Assign screen

Determine if you want to hide the billing fields on the Other Materials Test To Assign queue in LIMS. If so, set this setting to Yes in the General / Settings section of Administration.

Activity - Search / Results - Added Field Activity Retest Results configuration where the user has the ability to manage which fields display on the Manage Density Retest page in Field

There is no need to configure this setting at this time. This is work in development and the configurations can be used starting in the 2022.1 release in early 2022.

Work Items - Added Retest - Soil Density that will be used for retests of DIY soil density forms

LIMS

Testable Queue (Other Materials) - Added the ability for users to “Change Lab” functionality / button

Receiving Lists - Modified for DIY samples: Specimen # has been changed to Specimen (Set), Test Age has been added, and Sample Type has been modified to display the name of the Sample Form and if present, the Sample Type will appear in parenthesis ( )

Test To Assign Queue - Test Date will now be calculated and presented if Test Age value is defaulted

Batch Entry Grids - Break Remark values now default based on business rules

Form Designer

Added the ability for users to use Text Area fields in Batch Data Entry grids

Determine if Text Area fields need to be added to any Batch Data Entry grids and modify the Batch Data Entry configuration accordingly.

Added a Hide Scheduling Prompt to sample forms so the scheduling prompt will no longer appear when submitting a form by automatically selecting “Yes” or “No” to the scheduling prompt question based on the form setting

Determine if it makes sense to hide the scheduling prompt that displays after saving a sample record. If so, decide if the assumed answer to that prompt should be “Yes” or “No” and assign the Hide Scheduling Prompt form setting accordingly.

Enhanced the Bypass LIMS Test Assignment form setting so different tests could be assumed based on the form record’s sample type

Determine the default test for each sample type and add the Sample Type / Test Form association in Default Test form setting.

Added the ability for users to reference fields on a form in a validation message by using placeholder variables

Determine if any validation messages could benefit from variable placeholders. Use field system names as the placeholder name inside brackets to configure (i.e. {{SystemName}})

Added a Retest Of field to the Density Test - Soil Nuclear Gauge forms so users can reference the original failed density test

Added a Retest field to the Density Test - Soil Nuclear Gauge forms so users can indicate if the test requires a retest

Report Designer

Added the ability to use the {{SetNumber}} placeholder for report descriptions to return the sample’s set number

Determine if any CGM sampling forms could benefit from having Set Number returned as a placeholder variable in the reports Description property. Configure the Description / Filename settings on the report design accordingly.
