User and Project Access
User Access
If you have users who typically use MetaField, they can use Safety for no additional fee.
If you have users who do not use MetaField, they can use Safety for a lower fee than a regular MetaField user. Refer to your fee schedule or consult with your Solutions Consultant for details. To add them, you can use the pre-defined role we have provided called “Safety Program”.
You may also use your own role, but to be eligible for the reduced subscription fee, the users can only have access to Field -> Safety
Project Access
If you would like your users to be able to log data to a project (for example a dedicated safety project) but do not want them to be able to see data other people are logging, you can configure this in Project Specifications. An example of this may be a corrective action form or other forms that have more sensitive information on them that only specific individuals get to see (HR Managers, Safety Program Manager, etc.).
Under the Project Security tab, set the project to a Confidential Project but also Allow data entry. This means people without access to the project can write data and view their own data but cannot view the data of others. Then you should add users who have complete access to the project to the grid below:
