Activity - Activity Administration

Purpose

This tab has three main purposes:

  1. Allows you to hard delete Activity Records
  2. Allows you to reinstate accidentally deleted Activity Records
  3. Allows you to move Activity Records from one project to another project.

Hard Delete an Activity Record

When Activity records are deleted in Quality Control, this is a soft delete. On this admin tab, soft-deleted Activities will appear with the delete icon next to them. Select the delete icon to permanently delete the Activity record. 

An Activity must first be deleted in Quality Control before it is eligible to be deleted in Activity Administration.

Activity numbers are automatically adjusted upon a move only if the Activity number has the AutoGenerated setting for Unique Per Project or Unique Per Project and Form.

Reinstate a Previously Deleted Activity Record

If a Quality Control user inadvertently deleted an Activity Record, it can be reinstated by selecting the Activate control. This will return the record to Quality Control.

Move an Activity Record

An Activity Record can be moved from one project to another project. To perform a move, select the Activities you with to move and then choose the Move button. Enter the project number for the project to which you would like your Activities moved.

Activity numbers are automatically adjusted upon a move only if the Activity number has the AutoGenerated setting for Unique Per Project or Unique Per Project and Form.

View Reported on Details

If an Activity Record was included on a Report, an icon will populate in the column to the right of Technician. Selecting this icon will open a popup with information related to the Report.

 

View Related Activity Records

If an Activity Record has another record associated with it, an arrow icon will populate in the far right column. Selecting this icon will open a popup with information related to the related Activity record.
