MetaField Field is designed to be used on a mobile device while on the job site, but can also be used on a desktop browser back at the office. Mobile functionaility allows users to enter data at the same time they are performing field activities. This real-time data entry reduces potential for errors and gets data into the MetaField system quickly, resulting in faster delivery of reports to you clients.
Bookmark
If you will be using Field from a mobile device, you may want to add MetaField as a bookmark so you can easily access the site in the future. For iOS users, only Safari bookmarks are supported. A saved icon or link to your home screen will not allow you access to the Field screens.
Accessing Information About the Project
When working in the Field module, you will often need to select a project to work with first. In the newer areas of Field (Activity, Sample Tracking, and Project Documents) after you have selected a project, the project name and project number will appear on the top of the screen. Choose the search icon to change projects. If you select the arrow on the right, the address, project manager and client will appear.
