About the Discrepancy Report
MetaField allows you the option of reporting out discrepancies on a separate report. Working with the Activity Discrepancy Report is slightly different than working with your custom Reports. This section help section outlines these differences.
Adding Fields to Discrepancy Report
Before you begin designing your report, you will need to add all the fields you want to add to work with on your report to the Discrepancy Report display area.
To do this, go to Administration > Activity > Search Results Display.
Adding Upload Fields
If you are adding an image upload field to your Discrepancy Report, you will also need to add this field to the Report Image Metadata display area.
Image fields will be referenced within the body of the report, but display as part of the metadata at the end of the report.
Accessing the Discrepancy Report in Report Designer
To open the Activity Discrepancy Report in Report Designer, go to Administration > Reports > Report Settings and search for this report. Once you have found this report, select the icon at the far right of the screen to open in Report Designer.
Applying Fields to the Report in Report Designer
The Discrepancy Report is designed to group items by their status: open or closed. You can apply fields to the report by opening the Dataset tab (1), expanding the Discrepancy field set (2) and locating the field under "Open Discrepancy" or "Closed Discrepancy" (3). You will also see fields for discrepancy counts and Image Metadata.
