Purpose
Specifications allows Project Managers to define project-specific values that MetaField will use to override any global settings.
Info |
---|
For example, Project Specifications values can be defined for Specified Minimum Compaction and Specified Maximum Compaction. When a Technician enters a density test, the Specified Min / Max Compaction values entered in Project Specifications will default for a Sand Cone or Soil Nuclear Gauge Tests. The Technician can override these values in field if needed. This is just one of many examples of specifications that can be defined. |
Tip |
---|
Project specifications can't be added if the project is an inactive project. |
Copying Project Specifications
Project specifications can be copied from one project to one or many "target" projects.
...
Info |
---|
ALL specification data is copied. If your target project already has specifications defined, you will be given the option to override those specifications or skip copying to that project. |
