Sample Types

The General Settings tab contains a number of sub-tabs.  The various sub-tabs are used to define values that are selected by users in various pick lists in MetaField Sample Types lists all of the concrete / grout / mortar sample types. Metadata like the default specimen size used or the sample type or the cost to execute the lab test for that sample type.

Admixture Unit

The Admixture Unit tab is used to store all of the admixture units used in your practice.

  • Type of field-applied admixture that could be added to concrete.
Tip

Usually contains just the list of admixtures that are added in the Field (versus at the plant).

Method of Placement

The Method of Placement tab is used to store all of the methods of concrete placement (bucket, chute, pump, etc.) used in your practice.

Sampled From

The Sampled From tab is used to store the places concrete is sample from (chute, mixer, etc.) in your practice.
