Sample Types

The Sample Types lists all of the concrete / grout / mortar sample types along with applicable metadata:

  • Sample type code (abbreviation)
  • Default specimen size
  • Default specified test age
  • Default test cost

General

The Default LIMS Batch Report Specimen selection allows you define a default answer to the question asked when preparing a batch report in the LIMS system. The two possible answers are:

  • Selected Specimens Only
  • All Specimens In Sample

Admixture Unit

The Admixture Unit tab is used to store all of the admixture units used in your practice.

Admixture Type

The Admixture Type tab is used to store all of the admixture types used in your practice.

Sampled From

The Sampled From tab is used to store the places concrete is sample from (chute, mixer, etc.) in your practice.

Sampling Method

The Sampling Method tab is used to store the various Sampling Method values that can be selected from in a C/G/M form.

Sample Condition

The Sample Condition tab is used to store the various Sample Condition values that can be selected from in a C/G/M form.


Displaying Sample Condition on Break Reports

To get Sample Condition to display on break reports such as the Compressive Strength of Concrete report, a sample record must have both a 'Sampling Method' and 'Sampling Condition' value set. Â
