Purpose
The View Specimens screen allows you to access an individual specimen so the status can be changed back to a previous state. This is commonly used when a specimen is incorrectly checked into a lab.

To access the View Specimens screen, you will need to first select the Concrete field module and then choose the appropriate project.

You will have access to specimens in the Picked Up, Checked In or Uncollected status.

A user must have a role assigned with the following permission to access the 'View Specimens' section. MetaField Administrators grant and modify roles in the Security Module (Administration → Security → Roles). |
View Specimens Filters
You can filter what specimens are displayed by selecting values under Technician, Specimen Status and Date Sampled.

Specimen are listed individually. Select an individual specimen to update it's status.

It is recommended to notify Lab when a specimen's status is updated reverted to a previous state (Logged / Picked Up). |

View More / All Specimen
- The default display screen will show 15 specimen.
- If you do not see your desired specimen, select More or All Specimen to lengthen the display list.
Changing Specimen Status
After you've selected an individual specimen from the View Specimens page, you will be brought to the Change Status page.

Only Checked Inspecimen specimens have the Logged AND Picked Up "Change Status To" option. Uncollectedand Picked Up specimen can only be changed to Logged. |
Use the drop down list to update the specimen by selecting the appropriate status. Then, select Save.
