Sample Types
The Sample Types lists all of the concrete / grout / mortar sample types . Metadata like the default specimen size used or the sample type or the cost to execute the lab test for that sample type.
along with applicable metadata:
- Sample type code (abbreviation)
- Default specimen size
- Default specified test age
- Default test cost
General
The Default LIMS Batch Report Specimen selection allows you define a default answer to the question asked when preparing a batch report in the LIMS system. The two possible answers are:
- Selected Specimens Only
- All Specimens In Sample
Admixture Unit
The Admixture Unit tab is used to store all of the admixture units used in your practice.

To get Sample Condition to display on break reports such as the Compressive Strength of Concrete report, a sample record must have both a 'Sampling Method' and 'Sampling Condition' value set.
