Purpose
Documents can be uploaded to MetaField that are valuable for field technicians to have access to in the field. Any PDF or image files file or URL's uploaded on the Documents tab will be accessible by field technicians (if their mobile device supports the file type) when using MetaField's Field module. Any file type can viewed from the Project Specifications - Documents grid.

Document Groups
Document groups are used to group similar documents together. Think of them as folders. All documents must be associated with a document group.
Uploading Documents
...
- Click the Add Documents button above the documents grid
- Click the Upload button to select a file to upload
- Provide a brief description of the file
- Click Save
- Type in the desired description
- Select the Field Areas you would like the document to accessible from
- Select the Resource type (File or URL)
- Click Save to add the document
Download / View / Edit / Delete Documents
- Click the Download button (arrow pointing down) in the document grid to download the file
- Click the Preview button (picture thumbnail) in the document grid to view or download the file
...
- preview the file (image and PDF files only) or to follow the URL
- Click the Edit button (pencil icon) in the document grid to edit the description.
- Click the Delete button (X) in the document grid to delete the file.
