Purpose
Generic Userscan be defined to are used to identify the individuals or entities involved in the testing process who are not named employeesusers of the system. Generic Users populate lists within MetaFieldä MetaField that contain employee named user names. They exist in addition to the standard list gathered from your active directory, providing extra choices for MetaField™ users when a required Technician or Project Manager dropdown list does not include the name of the individual who should be selected.
You can narrow down the lists which general users will populate in by selecting whether they are a Field Tech, Lab Tech, or neither.
Generic Users
To Add a new User, select Add New User, provide a name, and select Save.
