Specifications allows Project Managers to define project-specific values that MetaField will use to override any global settings. For example, Project Specifications values There are numerous project specifications that can be defined for Specified Minimum Compaction and Specified Maximum Compaction. When a Technician enters a density test, the Specified Min / Max Compaction values entered in Project Specifications will default for a Sand Cone or Soil Nuclear Gauge Tests. The Technician can override these values in field if needed. This is just one of many examples of specifications that can be defined.and are outlined in the related pages noted above.

Project specifications can't be added if the project is an inactive project.

The Project Specification Audit button can be used to create a data extract containing the counts of records for the various types of specifications stored. This helps users perform audits to see if there are missing specifications for projects in MetaField. The specification audit is based on the projects returned in the project search grid based on the filter applied to generate the list of projects. When running specification audit, you will be asked to supply an email address to deliver the results to. The audit process will execute in the background and send a .csv file to the provided email address.
