The Standards tab allows you to define a default ASTM standard related to each type of field test. If more than one ASTM standard could apply, those values are added here and the user would select from a list in the Field module.

Standards

Field	Description
Measurement Type	Indicates the measurement type (i.e. concrete temperature) the standard applies to.
Standard	Lists the standard name as you want it to appear.
Notes	Contains additional notes about the standard (testing prodedure summary, etc.).
Default Value	Indicates if the standard is the default value (user would not need to select) for a particular measurement.

Standard names, as listed on this screen, will display on certain reports to disclose the standard used for that testing procedure. Bear this in mind when choosing a standard name.
