What is AgileStamp?
- AgileStamp is a software service that enables verifiable, secure signatures to be applied to digital documents. This type of signature is commonly referred to as a Digital Signature. Signing services are provided in 3 ways:
- Embedded within the MetaField product, signature service subscribers to AgileStamp enjoy seamless integration with signature services. For those subscribers who do not subscribe to MetaField, there are two other ways to sign documents:
- From your web browser, you may directly access Digital Signature Appliance Web App: https://sign.agileframe.net/
- From your Windows PC, through the Signature Appliance Prepare and Sign Client.
- Agile Frameworks' AgileStamp user interface includes tight integration with the MetaField product providing a seamless user experience.
- At the back-end, AgileStamp as well as the DocuSign UIs, utilize a server product called the DocuSign® Signature Appliance. Agile Frameworks, is a Certified Reseller and Partner of the manufacturer, DocuSign Inc. This partnership allows Agile Frameworks to offer subscribers with DocuSign Signature Appliance functionality either in a stand-alone mode (through the various DocuSign local software clients or the DocuSign Web App) or integrated with our other products. These cost savings are possible because AgileStamp clients have no overhead or equipment costs related to this service. The only cost to the customer is the AgileStamp subscription fee. Agile Frameworks incurs the cost of the necessary equipment and hosting of the Certificate Authority.
- AgileStamp is directly integrated with Agile Frameworks' MetaField® product. MetaField users who also have an AgileStamp license can sign reports created in the MetaField application. Information about signing reports in MetaField can be found in MetaField Help.
To sign documents outside of MetaField, AgileStamp customers need to download a tool called the DocuSign Signature Appliance Client . Once downloaded, they can sign digitally sign a variety of documents.
Why are Digital Signatures Used?
- As organizations attempt to move from paper-based processes to paper-free, electronic documentation; they often find themselves regressing back to paper copies when signatures are required. With legally binding, digital signatures in place, businesses can be truly paper-free and gain the following advantages:

- Batch signing capabilities
- Document full text search capabilities
- Competitive differentiation due to these advantages
Setting up New Accounts and Getting Assistance
- To request a new AgileStamp account, or to make a change to an existing account (such as adding an additional signature image), fill out the AgileStamp Account Request Form and send it to Agile Frameworks Support via one of your Named Users.
- There is a 149.99 KB limit per AgileStamp Account. If your users have numerous PE Seals, a second account may be required for any additional space needed.
