About Field Concrete
This section of MetaFields allows you to record data specific to concrete pours and sample management. In MetaField these different activities are broken down into the Sample Types listed below.
Sample Type and Data Entry
Depending upon which Sample Type is selected in Field related sections will be exposed for data entry.

Selecting a Project
To select a project, you can choose the Search Projects button. If you are already in a project, you can change projects by selecting the Project Number.
Entering a Concrete Sample
After you have selected a project to work with, you will be taken to the main concrete sample screen. Depending upon the Sample Type you select, buttons to various screens will be exposed below.

Specifications
After you have completed the main Concrete Sample screen, select Specifications. This is the area you would record the various project specifications for your Concrete Sample.

Concrete Field Notes
This screen allows you to enter notes pertaining to the current sample. These notes are viewable from Quality Control but will not display on the client report.
Saving a Concrete Sample
You have two options when saving: Save and Save As Draft.

Copying and Adding Related Concrete Sample
After you have successfully saved a sample, you will have the option of copying the sample you just entered.

Example of when to use Related Sample If you are taking two different Sample Types from the same truck (e.g., Cast Cylinder and Density Test), you may choose to add these as related samples |
