View Specimens

  • To access the View Specimens  screen, you will need to first select the Concrete field module and then choose the appropriate project.

  • The MetaField View Specimens screen allows you to access an individual specimen.  Here, the status of a specimen can be changed back to a previous state. 
  • This area of Concrete Field give you access to all specimens that have the following status:

     

    • Picked Up
    • Checked In
    • Uncollected

    Permission

    Pending permission from your MetaField Business Administrator, this page may or may not be available for access.

View Specimens Filters

  • You can filter what specimens are displayed by selecting values under Technician, Specimen Status and Date Sampled.

Picked Up Specimen

  •  Specimen are listed individually.  Select an individual specimen to update it's status.

Checked In Specimen

  •  Specimen are listed individually.  Select an individual specimen to update it's status.

Important

It is recommended to notify Lab when a specimen's status is updated to a previous state (Logged / Picked Up).

 Uncollected Specimen

  • Specimen are listed individually.  Select an individual specimen to update it's status.


View More / All Specimen

  • The default display screen will show 15 specimen.
  • If you do not see your desired specimen, select More or All Specimen to lengthen the display list.

Changing Specimen Status

  • After you've selected an individual specimen from the View Specimens page, you will be brought to the Change Status page.
    • Sample Details and Specimen Details are displayed.

Notice

Only Checked In specimen have the Logged AND Picked Up "Change Status To" option.  Uncollected and Picked Up specimen can only be changed to Logged.

  • Use the drop down list to update the specimen by selecting the appropriate status.  Then, select Save.

Lab Receival

Specimens that have been "Received" by the Lab, will not be available for status update.
