Purpose

The Specimen Size grid lists the various specimen sizes available for both concrete / grout / mortar samples and generic sample tracking.

FieldDescription
Name
  • Text-based name of the specimen size

Could be a physical size. Could be a general name (i.e. "Large Bag" or "Bulk Sample Bag").

Concrete / Grout/ Mortar Sample Types

Sample Tracking Sample Forms 

  • Indicates the sample type(s) / form(s) the specimen size is valid for / associated with
  • Only specimen sizes associated with a given sample type will be presented to technicians in the Field module

Add Specimen Size

Click the Add Specimen Size button. Name the specimen size and select which sample type(s) / sample form(s) the size is associated with.

Measurement values can be added to specimen size definitions. The defined values will auto-populate LIMS forms when a specimen of that size is tested.
