What is MetaField

MetaField is a field information management system built for companies engaged in Construction Materials Testing and other civil / geotechnical engineering activities, with a focus on high volume activities such as:

  • Density Testing (Soil / Bituminous)
  • Inspections and Observations
  • Activity Logging
  • Concrete / Grout / Mortar Testing
  • Sample Tracking

Main MetaField functions are split into 9 components:

Browser Support

MetaField is compatible with all smart devices that can utilize a web browser, allowing end users to choose which device best suits their needs (tablets, laptops, smart phones, desktops, etc.). Most browsers and devices allow for zooming and text enlarging for users with visual impairments. MetaField also supports voice-to-text for many data entry fields throughout the system.  Recommended browsers include Chrome, Safari, Microsoft Edge and FireFox. Support for Microsoft Explorer was discontinued with the 2021.2 release. Supported operating systems include Microsoft Windows, Mac OS, Android, and iOS.
