Safety Form and Report Designer is built on the same MetaField DIY Engine architecture that is used in Activity and Sample Tracking. Refer to the MetaField® DIY Engine area of Help for more information.
Referencing Another Project
In Activity and Sample Tracking, data is typically logged against the applicable project and that is how the project is identified. Uniquely in Safety, you may ask you users to log data against a safety project but you want them to reference the job they were working on.
In Form Designer, you can add a picklist with a data source of projects:
Please note that this drop down may be very large if you have many projects. If you are using your form in offline mode this will increase the storage space used on the device, so please keep this in mind. We will be improving this in a future version.
