Field - Field Costs (All Areas)

Purpose

If Field Costs are configured in the Work Items section of Administration, they will appear on the Notes / Costs / WBS section of various Field records.

Field	Description
Cost Type	The general categorization of costs Configured in the Administration module
Cost Unit	The unit the cost is based on (trips, hours, field tests, samples, etc.) Configured in the Administration module
Unit Cost	The cost per unit Can be hidden from Field Technicians if desired (Display Costs in Field Module setting in Admin)
Units	The number of units (trips, hours, field tests, samples, etc.)
Total Cost	Calculated total cost - Unit Cost * Units Can be hidden from Field Technicians if desired (Display Costs in Field Module setting in Admin)
Notes	Situational notes about the field costs

Field Costs not currently available for Activity or Sample Tracking records.

Field Costs can also be related to the retrieval of specimens for Concrete / Grout / Mortar and Sample Tracking samples. Those field costs will be presented on the respective Check In screens.
