Purpose

Field	Description
Lower Moisture % Tolerance	Indicates how many percentage points lower than the calculated moisture is tolerated Expressed as a negative number (i.e. -2) Global
Upper Moisture % Tolerance	Indicates how many percentage points higher than the calculated moisture is tolerated Expressed as a positive number (i.e. 3) Global
Report Optimum Moisture Tolerance	Controls if the moisture tolerance displays on field density reports

Field	Description
Code	Soil classification code (group code)
Sub-Code	Optional sub-classification of the soil User-defined - intended to create more granular uniqueness within a given code In the attached image, think of the Code being the red box and the Sub Code being a code derived to support the uniqueness in the blue box Click image to expand
Description	Description of the soil classification
Lower Moisture % Tolerance	Indicates how many percentage points lower than the calculated moisture is tolerated Soil classification specific
Upper Moisture % Tolerance	Indicates how many percentage points higher than the calculated moisture is tolerated Soil classification specific
Requires Retest	Indicates if a retest is required for that soil classification if moisture falls outside the tolerated range
