Purpose

Drive Cylinders used for field soil density testing are managed here.

Name
  • Name of the sand cone used for easy identification (i.e. "John Doe Drive Cylinder", etc.)

Drive Cylinder ID

  • Identification number of the Drive Cylinder

Weight of Cylinder (lb)

  • Calibrated Weight of Drive Cylinder
Top Diameter (in)
  • Calibrated Diameter of Cylinder Top
Bottom Diameter (in)
  • Calibrated Diameter of Cylinder Bottom
Cylinder Height (in)
  • Calibrated Height of Cylinder
Volume of Cylinder (cf)
  • Calculated Volume of Cylinder
Calibration Date
  • Date the Drive Cylinder was last calibrated
Calibrated By
  • Person who last calibrated the Drive Cylinder

Inactivating a Drive Cylinder removes it from list of Drive Cylinders to select from in the Field module.

Data Extracts

Drive Cylinder data can be extracted using the Extract Records buttons.
