About
Field workers are often required to submit a report before they leave a jobsite, and/or are required to submit a report of their daily activities to a project manager.
These types of reports are created in Field - Field Reports area. Field reports can also be set to bypass QC - Field Reports by using the "Send Field Reports To" setting on the Report Type record. Settings can be changed in the Reports - Settings area (discrete reports) or in Report Designer (custom reports).
There is also a Field Reports area in Quality Control. Reports created in Field-Field Reports can be accessed in Quality Control Field Reports.
While Field Reports can be e-mailed from Field, a Field Report is not considered Finalized until marked and sent to Delivery.

Emailed Field Reports
- If the Field user (who created the report) chose to send an email containing the report, an email button will be shown on the right end of the table.
- If the email fails to be sent from Field, the report will still display in Quality Control, but the email button will not display. Field users will also be notified of the failing e-mail. Note that the system is unable to report unsuccessful delivery of an email. Any delivery failures would be reported in the sender's email account Inbox.
- Select the email button to view additional information, such as the timestamp, recipients, and message text for the message.
- Upon finalizing a Field Report that was previously sent via email, an option to set the report as "Delivered" when sent to Delivery is presented. Choose this option if you do not plan on resending the report.
