Table of Contents

Purpose

This is a repository of your physical testing labs. These may or may not be in the same location as your office locations. Specimens are ultimately checked into and tested at these lab locations.

Fields

Name
  • The name of the laboratory
  • Required
Code
  • Internal code for the lab
Address, City, State / Province, Postal Code
  • The physical address location of this laboratory
Region
  • Geographic region the lab is associated with
Include Lab Info On Lab Reports
  • If Yes is selected, the name and complete address enter for the lab will display on non-configurable concrete / grout / mortar lab reports
Label Printer
  • Indicates if the lab uses a label printer to print specimen labels
  • If Yes, then the user is asked if they want to print a label as part of the specimen receiving process in the LIMS queues
Concrete / Grout / Mortar Receive At Check In
  • If Yes, then field technicians have the option to "receive" the specimen in the lab at the same time they are checking the specimen in
Sample Tracking Receive At Check In
  • If Yes, then field technicians have the option to "receive" the specimen in the lab at the same time they are checking the specimen in
